Donkeys
AGAVE'S SUPERMANSuperman is a companion animal through and through. He's playful, and loving, and just thrives on being the center of attention. He doesn't like being left alone, so he needs to be in the company of other horses. It will be interesting to see how Superman matures. Currently he is young, and full of energy and antics. However he also shows signs of being a service animal if he ever mellows out.

Agave's Little BearBear is not a beginners donkey. And we were reluctant to place him for sale at first because of his exuberant nervous energy. For a donkey, he is high strung. However he makes an excellent guardian, and is always the first one to alert the herd to something, and brave in the face of danger. We have been working with him to address the nervousness, but think he might be better suited as a Guardian rather than mounted.

Agave's Last StandCuster is a very adaptable donkey, whose temperament would allow him to be trained in anything. He handles clippers like a champ, and makes the funniest faces when being groomed. Custer has great ground manners and really respects his handle. We just began to break him in, but he's going to need some patience. He has a hard time standing still while mounting, and we are working on that with him.

Mules
Dogwood's JuniperBy the eventing and show jumping jack, Dogwood's Hopalong Harley. Juni has 8 points in Flat Racing, and has begun her training for Mountain Trail. Before moving to Arizona, Juni had only experienced arena Mountain Trail classes. Now, we have an entire backyard of mountains for her to tackle and explore. She will make a great trail mule for someone.

Dogwood's Susie SkipperIBy the eventing and show jumping jack, Dogwood's Hopalong Harley. Skipper won her first and only race, earning 10 points before retired and sold to my Grandfather for retraining. During her stay in Virginia, she became incredibly close to Hardy, and we were unable to successfully rehome her. Part of our goal for her in Arizona, is to get her to become more independant. If willing to take the pair in, we will reduce the fees by half.

Dogwood's Brooker's BanditBy the dressage and eventing mammoth jack, Dogwood's Lynton. Bandit is a Clydesdale cross, and has the personality of a lap dog. Bred (and spoiled) by my Grandfather, he was trained in Carriage and Combined driving. However a uneven growth spurt caused him to halt his training for a while, so he only has 13 points. Now he's grown into his adult self, and ready to find a home. He's never been officially tacked up and ridden, however my Grandfather used to ride him bareback with just the driving reins all the time.

Dogwood's MAGNIFICENT MargeBy the dressage and eventing mammoth jack, Dogwood's Lynton. Marge is a Belgian cross that shows in Combined as well as Carriage Driving. She currently has 34 points total, almost divided equally between the two disciplines. Her golden sorrel coat often gets her mistaken for a Palomino, and that's just one of the things that makes this girl a show stopper. Marge has not been ridden, but she has a very easy going temperament, so training should go smoothly.

Zebras & Zebra Crosses
Agave's Z'oudiniZ'oudini is adaptive, but responsive in a logical sense. He's more likely to respond to things in front of him instead of his handler. He's the type of personality to have already made a decision before you ask him to do something. He is very protective of his handler, and will put himself between danger and his handler. He doesn't like dogs, and hates being in a stall. A shed with a run, or outside boarding is his cup of tea.
